Miss New Zealand Criticised Wear Used the old clothes in Miss Universe 2010

Sdyney Finalists of Miss Universe 2010 from New Zealand Ria van Dyke wear old clothes when he joined the national dress competition. Van Dyke bought the dress in Las Vegas.

"Some of the finalists wore dresses that cost thousands of dollars. Meanwhile, I went to a thrift store with my mom," the story of Dyke.

Dyke claimed to have little time to find a dress to wear national dress competition. He was really sad not to wear the work of New Zealand.

Because of its action to buy clothes from a secondhand clothing store in Las Vegas, the Dyke was criticized. "I'm very disappointed because of the fact that no national dress. Shirt he has wearing only a sparkling black dress," said Miss Universe New Zealand director Val Lott, as reported by the Sydney Morning Herald, Thursday (08/19/2010).

When, it had been national dress competition on Monday (8/16/2010) ago, Dyke has wearing a black dress and silver. His head appeared wearing hair ornaments shaped like a silver leaf.

The only thing is the work of New Zealand is a headpiece or hair ornaments Dyke. Headpiece is made by designer Natalie Chan.

Chan is the designers from Auckland, New Zealand. He had previously been making clothes for Katie Taylor who followed Miss Universe in 2009.
